BLACK MONDAY
20 years ago on October 19th, 1987, the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 508 points an astounding 22.6% in one day.

    In ‘87 I must have been one of the few who got out in time as I had a dream the night before that I was riding in a car with 4 guys who had no shirts on. We went up to a stop light that turned red. My mom was standing on the corner by the light holding the clothes I presumed to be their shirts. that was enough for me. I went to the phone the next AM and sold !
    So far, no dreams-

    Mike… there are many theories for the cause of Black Monday. Although not pinpointed, many factors have been scrutinized. I invite our readers to help give some ideas on the causes of Black  Monday.
