The monthly trend has been upward since 5-31-07 … we could have entered this move that day. However, if we were coming into things after the May 31st, we could have looked to the weekly chart for corresponding triangles. The last weekly triangle corresponding with the monthly triangle was issued on September 4th and since we have not seen another triangle issued on the weekly chart we would still be in on a long position. We are only in a trade if our long term (monthly) and short term (weekly) triangles correspond.
