Dwight Donahue :

It would be helpful if there was a daily listing of the all the triangles that occurred on say the previous day. Is that available in Market Club. Its frustrating to see a signal a week or two weeks ago and realize you missed the trade. Thanks for your replay

Dwight,

A tool you can use the find "recent" Trade Triangles would be the "Recent Trade Triangle" scan. However, this will find you Trade Triangles that have been issued in the past three trading days. The triangles could have been placed on the quarterly chart in the last 3 days, on the monthly in the last 3 days, the weekly in the last 3 days, or the daily in the last 3 days. This will be a great place to find triangles that are fresh position (please also check the chart analysis score to determine in the market is flatlined, or these are signals from a moving trend).

I hope I haven't confused you. If you have any further questions please give me a call. I am more than happy to help if I can.

Best,

Lindsay

Just want to congratulate on a series well done. I think a lot of traders would find their trading increase 10 fold if they addressed their beliefs about the markets before looking to optimize trading indicators etc. Your series does a good job at looking at what makes the markets tick

Sanjay :

"trade triangle" and "trade with the trends" are nice concept. But my observation shows (many times) "smart scan" does not show an equity which is the right candidate to pick, unless you search the symbol. Also, I've noticed when all the triangles are green OR monthly and weekly triangles are green, equity shows overbought. Any idea, how to get over with it? Thanks!

Sanjay,

The Smart Scan search results are right from some traders and not all… just because it returns a +55 and that doesn't work for you, doesn't mean it wont be what the next trader in line is looking for. Maybe trader Bob looks for sideways moving markets to identify breakout prices and then set limit orders. The returns can be used many different ways for many different people. Let me know you are looking for and I can chat with you about the charting patterns that may be most helpful for you.

I'm always happy to help.

Best,
